WaoApps ("we", "our", "us") operates the Photo2Calendar mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Photos and Images
When you use Photo2Calendar to scan event flyers, your photos are processed using Google's Gemini AI service to extract event information. Photos are sent to Google's servers for processing and are not stored permanently by us or Google after processing is complete.
Calendar Data
Event details extracted from your photos (titles, dates, times, locations) are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your calendar data or the events you create.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized usage statistics (e.g., number of scans, feature usage) through Google Analytics to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Advertising
The free version of Photo2Calendar displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
How We Use Your Information

- To display relevant advertisements (free tier)

Data Storage and Security
All event data and app settings are stored locally on your device using standard browser storage (localStorage). We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Your photos are transmitted securely (HTTPS) to Google's AI services for processing only.

- Google Gemini AI — For event extraction from images
- Google AdMob — For displaying advertisements
- RevenueCat — For managing subscriptions
- Google Analytics — For anonymized usage analytics
- Ticketmaster API — For discovering nearby events

Your Rights
You can:
- Delete all locally stored data from within the app (Settings > Clear Data)
- Opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
- Contact us to request information about what data we may have
Children's Privacy
Photo2Calendar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
